Sheli Levy

Danielle Sheli Levy is a creative producer and cultural worker with over eight years of experience weaving together art, performance, technology, film, music, and food to create transformative experiences. Her work is rooted in the belief that gathering is an art form in itself. After a decade in New York, she recently returned to Houston, where she continues to develop programs that expand arts accessibility and nurture collective imagination.

Danielle has worked with art institutions and global brands alike, including Hinge, Lyft, Sandy Liang, VICE, MSCHF, The Shed, New Museum, NEW INC, International Center of Photography, National Sawdust and the Whitney Museum of American Art, where she produced over 130 sold-out live performances with more than 40 different artists.

She’s part of the team behind Cake Zine, a James Beard nominated literary magazine exploring society through sweets. Since their first launch party in 2021, Cake Zine’s event programming has amassed an international cult following.

Last year, Danielle worked with the creative team at Hinge to make an Anthem Award-winning book shaped like a smartphone for the Global Day of Unplugging. The project is a part of Hinge’s Social Impact initiative, One More Hour.

Most recently, she curated the exhibition NOW IS NOW at LAR Gallery in Houston, on view through October 2025.

Her work as a producer has been screened at SXSW (2020) and Tribeca Film Festival (2022), and featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Time, Ad Age, Nylon, Interview, Teen Vogue, Variety, and the Dazed 100 list.
